NANO BROWS

  • Nano brows are a form of brow tattooing that implements a handheld electric device and one ultra-sharp nano needle to semi-permanently lay pigment under the skin.

Fine hair strokes are meticulously etched with pigment between brow hairs to imitate natural brow hairs, yielding the look of eyebrow hairs so extremely realistic that they can be indistinguishable from your own.

This semi-permanent makeup treatment for the eyebrows creates the look of super natural volume, fills in sparse patches, and defines arches— giving you the brows you’ve always wanted.

  • Nano brows are similar to microblading, the two semi-permanent techniques result in fine, natural-looking hair strokes that stand up to water and sweat.

The difference is that nano brows uses a smaller needle than microblading and are implemented via handheld machine. The single needle used to apply nano brows creates rows of tiny punctures as opposed to a fine, paper-cut-like split that is created in the skin with microblading. Precision and accuracy improves because of the smaller needle, it can mimic the diameter of a real hair strand, allowing for the most realistic hair-like results.

Nano brows tend to cause less trauma to the surrounding skin than microblading. Also, a smaller needle also means less pain and bleeding.

Nano brows last approximately two to three years, while the results of microblading typically last one to two years. Though nano brows can be applied to all skin types, their slightly longer lifespan make them an ideal choice for those with oily or textured skin, as well as those looking to adjust previously tattooed eyebrows.

    • longer lasting results (2-3 years)

    • more realistic hair strokes

    • brows are more customizable to you

    • procedure is less traumatic to skin, less bleeding and quicker heal time

  • Very little to no pain will be expected during the procedure as a topical numbing cream (Lidocaine 5%) will be applied to brow area prior to.

  • Healing time varies from individual to individual. Usually, it takes about a week to ten days for the epithelial crust to form and slough off. Your skin will be considered healed after that happens. Then, the pigment takes some time o settle into the skin. A good month should pass before I consider the process complete.

  • As a result of the gap between the two sessions - to allow your brows to fully heal - you should have your perfect brows within eight weeks.

Your nanobladed brows should last a year before needing a maintenance appointment, although some individuals can wait up to 18 months for a follow-up session.

Nanoblading can last up to three years where microblading lasts around 1-2 years due to the depth of the pigment placement. However, the timeframe is largely dependent on the pigment color, depth, ink type, intensity of work, and the client's skin type. Oily skin, for example, may fade nano brows faster because oily skin by nature has a quicker cell turnover rate. Therefore, lasting results will vary to each person.

  • Eyebrows tattoo is a two-step treatment, consisting of an initial procedure and then a touch up between 4 to 6 weeks after.

After taking your before photo, I will draw the brow design in pencil so you will get an idea of the shape and form. Please note that nobody’s face is totally symmetrical and you need to be realistic with your expectations. There is no point in trying to make the eyebrows identical or match a photo of your favorite celebrities’ eyebrows if your face shape looks nothing like theirs. Once we have agreed on a final shape (ultimately it is your decision—but I will always voice my opinion on what I think suits you aesthetically), I will shape your eyebrows with pencil then we will decide on the color. A topical anesthetic will be applied on the brow area to ensure comfort. Once you are numb, the pigment is deposited.

  • While the nano brows procedure is minimally invasive, preventative measures must be taken to avoid adverse reactions and/or complications and to ensure proper and healthy healing.

If any of the following contraindications apply to you, the nano brows service is unfortunately unavailable to you at this time.

Nano brows is not ideal for you if you:

    • are diabetic (consult your doctor)

    • have any bleeding disorders

    • are taking blood-thinning medications (consult your doctor and discontinue use if possible)

    • recently had Botox injections or fillers (wait at least 4 weeks)

    • are pregnant or nursing

    • have a history of keloids or hypertrophic scarring

    • have viral infections or diseases

    • are going through chemotherapy

    • have skin irritations, Rosacea, Eczema or Psoriasis near the brow area

    • had skin that was tanned recently

  • Unfortunately, I can’t. How the skin will react is different for everyone and many factors are to be taken into consideration.

Skin type, age, scarring, diet, stress levels, facial products used, etc. all play a key role in how the pigment will hold, which is why it is important to know that more than one touch up may be required.

I can guarantee that your face is important to me and that I will act in accordance with my experience and expertise to give you my absolute best. I can guarantee that I will strive to make you gratified and content every time. But there are no guarantees in this industry.
